My Japanese Art Remake

For my class' CyberSmart learning we started our "Summer Learning Journey". For this year we had a art task, this includes choosing a famous landscape/place or a famous art (Link: https://artsandculture.google.com/experiment/art-coloring-book/1QGsh6vSfAQBgQ?hl=en) . For my desicion I chose the art with the name "Woman combing her hair". This art was made by Gо̄yo Hashiguchi, born in December the 21st 1880, died in February the 24th 1921. He designed 14 woodblock prints and is from Kagoshima, Japan.

For this task we had to choose a famous art/landscape and recreate the colours using our own style, here's mine at the top while the original art is in the bottom

Physical and Chemical Changes by Hannah

Today my class has been learning about Physical and Chemical Changes, a chemical change are things that can cause a physical change is as if for example, you freeze water, the form changes from liquid to solid because of the energy added.  A Chemical change are things that create a chemical change as if for example, a fruit ripens or you burn wood. Rotting, burning, cooking, and rusting are all the types of chemical changes. Because they create a whole new entire chemical or product.

My Google Drawing Māori Glossary

Today for reading my class was creating a Māori Glossary using the words from a Kahoot individual quiz we did earlier, I learnt lots of new Māori words like the word "Aihikirīmi" meant "Ice Cream". To create the glossary we needed 5-8 words in Māori that we could recall from the 2 quizzes we did, then type it in English translation.

The part I liked the most was customizing everything in the google drawing, The google drawing was pretty bland but next time I would make it more colourful and bright. Even though I only had five words I could probably add more next time.

Terrific Filter Feeding Science Experiment!

Today for reading, my class has been learning about how to "Apply prior knowledge and opinions to a text" the topic was about shellfishes, this was also a science experiment but this was a task after reading though. We had to write in how shellfishes clean the polluted water, what they eat in clean/dirty water. We also had to explain why/why not should we stop consuming shellfish. We took pictures of the science experiment and as you can see, the photos are a little bit small in size and it is found in the right coloumn below the title "What shellfishes eat in clean water".

To write down our answers we had to research what they eat and watched a video about the task.

I did find some things challenging about writing down what shellfishes eat, but all in all the task was alot of fun and we learnt alot at the end of the day.

The Cats VS Dogs Debate!

Today for Reading, my reading group was learning about "Applying our prior knowledge and opinions to a text". This also connects to what my class has been learning about, "Persuasive Writing" applying our opinions will help us very well with our writing. As you can see here in the slide I have added 3 reasons why Cats are better than Dogs and why it is better than the opposing one.

I had a lot of inspiration and fun customising and writing in this slide, I didn't find anything much hard while creating the slide.

My Excellent Blog Exploration!

Today for Cybersmart, my class was exploring on different blogs from different schools and recording it in a slide diagram where we record their Year level, School, Information from their "About me" profile. We also recorded their pageviews, numbers of countries that visitors were from, and lastly their posts from last year, 2019. We also did the similar thing for our own blogs.

Next we read from these blogs and listed anything we could include in our blogs, we did also list how we could get more people to visit our blog page.

I did find some things tricky while listing information, but it was mostly fun since I got to know more about these students and about their hobbies and their favourite sports and food.
